Die Temperature Control Fitting

RoHS2 Compliant

Molding Die Temperature control coupling.
Push the release sleeve and remove the joint part, then you see no projection on the die.

Metal
  • Brass with electroless nickel plating is used for the main metal parts.
Seal rubber
  • HNBR is used for the seal rubber material. HNBR: A material with improved ozone resistance by adding hydrogen to NBR. Ideal for low-concentration ozone countermeasures.
  • HNBR or FKM is used for the seal rubber material. *Some products are only compatible in the flow path.

Advantages

Molding Die Temperature control coupling.
Push the release sleeve and remove the joint part, then you see no projection on the die.

Nickel-plated brass is used for the metal body and HNBR for the seal material.

Thermal oil, clean water and air can be admitted.

Fitting part can be removed from thread part.

Prepare the molding die according to the thread size, bury the threaded part in the die using an allen wrench, and then just fit in the joint part.
Push the release sleeve and remove the joint part, then you see no projection on the die.

With the stop valve built-in type, the fluid (e.g. hot water) does not spill at the installation or removal of the joint.

Detailed Safety Instructions

Warning

1.When the fluid medium is water or heat medium oil, do not use fittings unless the operating environment meets all the described specifications in the catalog. Otherwise, it may cause damage to the products, the escape of tubes and a fluid leakage.

2.Before uncoupling the plug, make sure there is no pressure in the pipe and fluid such as water and heat medium oil are under 30℃. In case these compressed fluids are still in the pipes and are over 30℃, there is a possibility that the plug jumps out and cause injury or burns.

3.Do not touch the sleeve when a compressed fluid still remains in the pipe. There is a possibility that plug can be pulled out unexpectedly by touching it physically.

4.When a plug is installed in a socket, push the plug into the socket to fix properly until it stops. It may cause a disconnection of the plug if it is installed incompletely. After installing, pull the plug toward oneself moderately to make sure it is connected properly.

5.As for barb type, use the I.D.6.3mm (0.25 in.) heat-proof hose for ID06 and the I.D.9.5mm (0.37 in.) heatproof hose for ID09. Usage of improper size of hoses may result in a poor connection, the escape of hose and a fluid leakage, etc.

6.Make sure to insert the barb into hose up to the barb end and fix it by a hose band which is commercially available. There is a possibility of the hose escape or a fluid leakage by a poor connection of the barb or without the hose band.

7.Select seal rubber material considering sufficient margin to the operating temperature range. Seal rubber material can be worn out by heat and may cause a fluid leakage. Perform maintenance periodically and in case leaks are found, replace the product to the new one promptly.

Caution

1.When the socket is embedded in a molding die, the top surface of the socket must be 3mm (0.12 in.) deep at maximum from the surface of the die. If the depth is more than 3mm (0.12 in.), it can be difficult or impossible to uncouple the plug. * Refer to "Die Processing Dimension" .

2.Make sure that the knurling part of stop valve built-in type fitting is not loosened before use. Also, do not apply load on the part toward loosening direction during use.
