PP (Polypropylene) is applied for the body material to adapt to clean environment.

Resin
  • PP is used for the main resin parts. PP: PP: Excellent chemical resistance, high transparency, and ideal for clean environments.
Metal
  • SUS304 is used for the main metal parts. SUS304: Ideal for use where strength is required or in a chemical atmosphere.
Seal rubber
  • EPDM is used as the seal rubber material. EPDM: Excellent weather resistance, cold resistance, and ozone resistance. Care must be taken as it is less resistant to mineral oils.
  • No copper-based metallic material is used in flow paths
  • HNBR or FKM is used for the seal rubber material. *Some products are only compatible in the flow path.
  • No lubrication is used during assembly.

Options

  • Fluorine grease is used as grease, and the product is packaged in a clean room after cleaning with clean air.

The thread specification can be chosen from Sealock treatment and no-sealock treatment depending on applications

Small union straight type is achieved downsizing by renewed design.

Sealing rubber material: HNBR is newly added.
Inch size: ø1/4, ø3/8, ø1/2 are newly added.

Warning

1.To adjust the speed of the actuator, gradually turn the needle from the fully closed position to increase the air volume. If the needle is open, there is a risk of the actuator move suddenly and violently. Turning the needle clockwise closes the valve, while turning it counter-clockwise opens it.

2.When adjusting the flow rate of the equipment, the needle should be turned to open gradually from the fully closed position. If the needle is in open position, a high flow rate will be instantly applied to the equipment and there is a risk of damage to it.

3.Resin can be deteriorated by being exposed to direct sunlight or ultraviolet rays.

Caution

1.Leakage is allowed for the control flow even when the needle is fully closed position and should not be used in such a way that zero leakage is required.

2.Note that EPDM (sealing rubber material) is not suitable for piping in general pneumatic circuits due to its inferior resistance to mineral oil-based oils.

3.No Sealock (thread sealant) is coated on taper pipe thread, be careful when installing them. When using sealing tape, sealing agent, etc. on the thread, wrap or apply it leaving 1.5 to 2 thread from the thread point.

4.Tube connection into a tube fitting is harder than that of standard spec. due to its oil-free specification. When using, make sure that the tube is inserted all the way to the tube end of the fitting. When inserting a tube, apply a liquid that is not problem to use on the tube surface to improve smoothness of tube connection.

5.Basket is made of PBT. Avoid use in areas where PBT may cause problems.

6.For the small union straight type, the check valve opening pressure may be higher than indicated, depending on the applied pressure in the control flow direction, applied time, and ambient temperature.

7.The corrosive and dusting properties depend on the operating environment. If there is concern about adverse effects on machinery or equipment, evaluate the adoption of the product in accordance with the operating conditions in advance.
