Control Valve

Speed Controller Spatter

RoHS2 Compliant

A fire-resistant resin (Equivalent to UL V-0) is applied for the body material to adapt to spatter environment.
Protective Cover at both needle and joint parts to protect from sparks.

Resin
  • Flame retardant resin is used for major resin parts. Flame-retardant resin: UL94 V-0 equivalent. Excellent weld spatter resistance.
Metal
  • Brass with electroless nickel plating is used for the main metal parts.
Seal rubber
  • NBR is used for the seal rubber material. NBR: A material generally used as a sealing material. Please note that it is inferior in ozone resistance.
  • HNBR is used for the seal rubber material. HNBR: A material with improved ozone resistance by adding hydrogen to NBR. Ideal for low-concentration ozone countermeasures.

Detailed Safety Instructions

Warning

1.To adjust the speed of the actuator, gradually turn the needle from the fully closed position to increase the air volume. If the needle is open, there is a risk of the actuator move suddenly and violently. Turning the needle clockwise closes the valve, while turning it counter-clockwise opens it.

2.When adjusting the flow rate of the equipment, the needle should be turned to open gradually from the fully closed position. If the needle is in open position, a high flow rate will be instantly applied to the equipment and there is a risk of damage to it.

Caution

1.Leakage is allowed for the control flow even when the needle is fully closed position and should not be used in such a way that zero leakage is required.

2.Always fit the cover after adjusting the actuator speed. Spark and molten residue can cause operating problems.

3.When using Anti-spatter Tube, cut the outer cover tube to the specified size (see following table) Cutting outside of the specified dimensions may cause the tube to come loose, leak, or cannot be inserted properly. * Anti-spatter Tube Cover Peeler (TSC) makes it easy to peel the cover.
