Check Valve PP with Low cracking Pressure

Check Valve PP is applicable to water (Fluid).
PP (Polypropylene) is applied for the body material to adapt to clean environment.

Resin
  • PP is used for the main resin parts. PP: PP: Excellent chemical resistance, high transparency, and ideal for clean environments.
Metal
  • SUS304 is used for the main metal parts. SUS304: Ideal for use where strength is required or in a chemical atmosphere.
Seal rubber
  • FKM is used as seal rubber material. FKM: Excellent in heat resistance, chemical resistance, and ozone resistance.
  • EPDM is used as the seal rubber material. EPDM: Excellent weather resistance, cold resistance, and ozone resistance. Care must be taken as it is less resistant to mineral oils.
  • No copper-based metallic material is used in flow paths
  • HNBR or FKM is used for the seal rubber material. *Some products are only compatible in the flow path.

Options

  • Fluorine grease is used as grease, and the product is packaged in a clean room after cleaning with clean air.

Best suitable for the applications in which no "copper alloy", "low level ozone resistance" and "non-grease" specifications are required.

SUS304 is used for the metal parts. FKM is used for valve packing. EPDM is used for elastic sleeve (FKM and NBR are optional).

Min. opening pressure is lower from 10kPa to 5kPa.

Possible to assure the flow rate even with low-pressure that did not work with conventional products.

Less noise generation compared to the conventional type.

No spring incorporated.

Two types of package are available.

Standard package and Cleanroom package, which item is washed by clean air and packed in ISO class 6 equivalent cleanroom, are available.

*1. When the fluid medium is water or liquid, be sure to read and follow the conditions below.

Surge pressure must be controlled lower than max. operating pressure when using water or liquid as a fluid medium.

Tap water in Japan free from foreign substances or contamination can be used. Carry out the evaluation under an actual operating condition for using other kind of water.

Be sure to place Insert Ring (WR) into the tube edge when using water or liquid as a fluid medium.

The specification above may not be applied, depending on the kind of chemicals or mixed gases used as fluid medium. Make sure to use PISCO products after verifying their suitability on the user side.

Warning

1.Frequent switching of the valve plug may cause the unit to heat up, which may result in thermal burns. Consult with PISCO if the operation frequency is high.

2.Check chemical resistance before using the products, when the fluid medium is chemicals, solvent or mixed gases. Depending on the usage conditions, it may cause damage to the fitting body, disengagement of the tube, or leakage.

3.Do not use the product if it does not satisfy all the conditions listed in the specifications when the fluid medium is water or liquid. It may cause damage to the fitting body, disengagement of the tube, or leakage.

4.Resin can be deteriorated by being exposed to direct sunlight or ultraviolet rays.

5.The max. operating pressure of the product varies depending on the operating temperature. Be sure to check the "Relation of Operating Temperature & Max. Operating Pressure” and use within that range.

Caution

1.If the valve is used under conditions where the differential pressure between the primary and secondary sides is extremely large (e.g., the secondary side is open to the atmosphere), the impact during operation may cause the valve plug to break, and in the worst case, the fragments may flow into downstream.

2.Depending on the operating pressure and flow rate, chattering of the valve plug may cause abnormal noise.

3.Note that EPDM (sealing rubber material) is not suitable for piping in general pneumatic circuits due to its inferior resistance to mineral oil-based oils.

4.Tube connection into a tube fitting is harder than that of standard spec. due to its oil-free specification. When using, make sure that the tube is inserted all the way to the tube end of the fitting. When inserting a tube, apply a liquid that is not problem to use on the tube surface to improve smoothness of tube connection.

5.Be sure to provide a differential pressure of 10 kPa or more in the check direction. Differential pressure below 10kPa may cause check leakage.

6.When pressure is applied continuously in the reversing (checking) direction, it may become higher than the minimum operating pressure indicated, depending on ambient temperature and application time.

7.The corrosive property depends on the operating environment. If there is concern about adverse effects on machinery or equipment, evaluate the adoption of the product in accordance with the operating conditions in advance.

8.Do not use the product in a way that requires zero leakage, as it allows for leakage.

9.Due to the structure of this product, intrusion of foreign matter may result in a check leak. Be sure to install a filter on the upstream side of the piping.

10.When this product is used with water, depending on the water quality and operating environment, water stains may adhere to the inside of the product, causing the check valve to leak. In the case of a check leak caused by water stains, depending on the extent of the stain, ultrasonic cleaning may improve the leak, but if the leak persists after cleaning, the product should be replaced accordingly.
