Detailed Safety Instructions

Warning

1.Since it is not a check valve, it cannot be used to hold a vacuum unless there is a vacuum retentioning function on the vacuum source side.

2.The Fall Prevention Valve is designed to minimise vacuum leakage and to allow multiple vacuum pads to be mounted on one ejector, but should only be used after a suction test has been carried out on the actual application.

3.Under conditions where the vacuum leak from the pad exceeds the required suction flow rate for valve operation, such as when a sponge pad is used, the valve element operates to reduce the suction flow rate, which may cause the workpiece to fall.

Caution

1.Caution for installation and removal of the main unit (1) Use the appropriate tools when installing and removing the product. (2) When installing, refer to the tightening torque shown in the following table and tighten.

2.Note on the thread tightening position of the body (1) When mounting the male thread to the device or holder, tighten the thread using the hexagonal-column of the male thread side and make sure it is not loose. Tighten the thread referring to the tightening torque shown in the following table. (2) When mounting the device or pad on the female thread side, tighten using the hexagonal-column of the female thread side, making sure that it is not loose. Tighten the thread referring to the tightening torque shown in the following table. * When inserting a tool into the hexagonal hole of the pad screw, be careful not to insert the tool too far. It may go through to the inside of the fall prevention valve and cause damage.

3.Since the pressure drop of this product is very small even when the workpiece is not picked up, when checking the pickup state with a pressure sensor, etc., use the product after thoroughly checking it on the actual operating condition. Due to the clogging of the filter element, the pressure drop when the workpiece is not picked up is even smaller, pay close attention to the pressure sensor setting.
